Dr. Mary Mena Dore-Okuoimose
Founder & Executive Director, Niger Delta Initiative
Dr. Mary Mena Dore-Okuoimose is a business leader, educator, consultant, and community development advocate with over 15 years of experience creating opportunities and driving positive social impact.
As the Founder and Executive Director of the Niger Delta Initiative, she has championed programmes that connect people and communities to education, digital skills, healthcare, economic opportunities, and strategic partnerships. Through her leadership, the Initiative has supported women and young people with digital literacy and empowerment opportunities, while building collaborations that expand access to skills, technology, and sustainable livelihoods.
Her passion for community development also extends through the Dr. Mary Mena Outreach Foundation, where she has supported underserved communities through free medical outreach and ICT training.
With a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and an MBA from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Dr. Mena combines academic expertise, business experience, and community leadership to turn ideas into practical programmes that improve lives.
Her work is driven by a simple vision of creating opportunities that empower people, strengthen communities, and enable individuals to build better futures.
